THE ROAD TO THE LITTLE HOUSE LAURA INGALLS WILDER
For many years, generations of adults and children have been interested in the stories of Laura Ingalls Wilder, including Little House on the Prairie. What motivated Laura to write these tales and tell of her experiences? Jessica Michna will portray Laura and speak to guests about her life and how she came to create her beloved literary works. Iced tea and refreshments to be served. Presentation will be held outdoors at the Hostert log cabin site. Following the program, guests will learn about the log cabins and get to take a peek inside.

HISTORY BIRTHDAY PARTIES Looking for a place to have a one-of-a-kind birthday party? Have your next special day at one of the Village’s historic sites! Choose one of the sites below with themes geared towards your child’s age and historic interests. Parties are 2 hours in duration and include crafts and games. Tablecloths will be provided. Other types of tablecloths and decorations can be brought in, if desired. Time for cake and opening gifts will also be allotted. Please book your party at least two weeks in advance calling 708.403.5000.
