THERE ARE SO MANY UNIQUE AND TALENTED RESIDENTS IN ORLAND PARK. THE VILLAGE BOARD TOOK A MOMENT TO RECOGNIZE SOME OF THEM FOR THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY.

Congratulations to the Orland Park A’s girls softball team on their championship win!

Mayor Keith Pekau presented Community Pride Awards to 10 Orland Park Residents that earned the designation of Eagle Scout. Congratulations to Troop 318’s 10 newest Eagle Scouts.

Mayor Pekau commends Trustee Jim Dodge for his 30 years of service on the village board.

The Village of Orland Park Dance Company was honored by the Orland Park Village Board for their TWO First Place wins at the Illinois Park District Dance Competition.

The Village of Orland Park LiveWell Team presented funds raised to the Orland Park Baseball 4 All Foundation to help further their efforts towards building an accessible baseball field in Orland Park for individuals with physical/mental impairments.

Mayor Pekau congratulates and thanks Kate Rost for her service to the community as Trustee Kathy Fenton looks on. Rost recently earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest honor available in the Girl Scouts USA.

Village of Orland Park Dance Instructor Kristin Lux was presented with a Community Pride Award along with her winning dance students.

The Orland Park Pioneer Cheer teams were recognized by the Orland Park Village Board for their championship wins at the IRCA State Championships.

The Orland Park Girl Scouts competed as the “Super Bots” at the Lego Robotics state qualifiers for the fourth year in a row and swept away the competition! Congratulations to our innovative young residents!
