Cal Sag Bridge at 104th Avenue - IDOT Project

The Illinois Department of Transportation has closed 104th Avenue for a bridge strengthening project. Construction is expected to last two years. Please note that the administration of projects, construction timelines and lane closures are out of the Village’s jurisdiction and control. However, the Village will continue to work with the agencies to assist in any way possible for a smooth transition.

This IDOT project will replace the existing bridge decks, make pier and abutment repairs and install new lighting for bridge. Traffic will be reduced from three to two lanes in each direction to make temporary pavement so southbound LaGrange Road can accommodate traffic in both directions. The project is anticipated to be completed in the fall of 2023.

*Wolf Road Bridge will be widened to accommodate two lanes of traffic, shoulders and a 10-foot wide concrete multi-use path. Includes resurfacing improvements.
