SHIP is a free health insurance counseling service for Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers, and it is available to everyone. We counsel older adults & adults with disabilities with information on: • Medicare (Part A and B) • Medicare Supplement Insurance • Medicare Advantage Plans (Part C) • Prescription Drug Coverage (Part D) • Low Income Subsidy (LIS) or Extra Help from Social Security for prescription drug costs • Medicaid programs • Medicare Medicaid Alignment Initiative (MMAI) • Medicare Saving Program (MSP) to cover Medicare Part B premium • Long-term Care Insurance • Medicare Claims and Appeals • Medicare Beneficiary Rights and Guarantees To learn more call 708.361.0219 or visit pathlights.org

In partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association and Orland Park Public Library, Pathlights is hosting an eight-week support group for those living with early stage dementia or MCI (mild cognitive impairment) and their care partners. This group will offer dementia-related education and emotional support and connections with resources. Memory Café
July 5 | August 2 | 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays Pathlights & Orland Park Public Library present Memory Café, a social gathering for people living with dementia and other forms of cognitive impairment and their care partners. Our monthly sessions offer an engaging activity on topics like art, music, and travel. Memory Cafés aim to decrease the social isolation that often accompanies dementia and caregiving.
