The Ubiquiti Access Points have had new microwaves purchased and installation began in 2023 in order to convert to digital. The Orland Park Police Department is now offering AARP Safe Driver courses. The AARP Smart Driver course is the nation's largest driver safety course and is designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. Drivers will learn the most current rules of the road, defensive driving techniques and how to operate vehicles more safely in today's increasingly challenging driving environment. The Orland Park Police Department utilizes the latest technology, processes and procedures as part of the ongoing duty to provide safety services to Orland Park.
