The Village of Orland Park is pleased to present the 2025 Winter/Spring Program Guide. Within this guide you will find recreational, fitness, cultural and educational opportunities for all ages, skill levels and interests. Please join us as the Village kicks-off the holiday season with its annual Christmas parade, tree lighting and festival on December 1 at Village Hall. The Winter Wonderland Ice Rink within Centennial Park opens November 30. The Ice Rink is open daily sunrise to sunset. Rental skates are available when the warming house is open. The New Year is a great time to begin a fitness routine. The Village’s Sportsplex and Orland Park Health and Fitness Center offer a large variety of cardio and strength equipment, indoor tracks, group exercise classes, personal training, specialty classes including Yoga and Pilates, sports specific training and much more. Each will be offering membership incentives in the New Year. Be sure to check out all the great camps coming in 2025 including Preschool Sports Academy, winter, spring and summer sports camps and the ever-popular Summer Day Camp. Don’t delay, these camps fill up fast. In 2025, the Village will break ground on the renovation of Doogan Park. This will include 10 pickleball courts, 2 tennis courts, 2 bocce ball courts, a playground, pavilion, half-basketball court, full size soccer field, baseball field and sledding hill. Completion of the park is expected in early 2026. Phase II construction of Schussler Park will begin in 2025 adding an all-inclusive playground, half-basketball court and pavilion completing the renovation of Schussler Park. I look forward to seeing everyone out and about enjoying all the wonderful recreation opportunities in Orland Park.
