OWLS / U.S. GOLF Athletes can participate as an individual golfer, skills competition or a unified partner. Athletes can also choose three, six or nine hole competition. We will work on hand eye coordination, balance and mental toughness. Join this great sport with your friends or family members! No class July 3. UNIFIED SPORTS Unified sports joins individuals with and without intellectual disabilities to participate on the same team. Special Recreation offers four Unified Sports: Bocce, Bags, Golf and Volleyball. Families must provide a partner if they are interested in participating in a Unified Sports competition, which can be a family member or friend. Benefits of participating include respect, understanding, acceptance, with the main concept of promoting social inclusion through sport.
