LIBRARY CARD REGISTRATION

BEYOND THE BOOKS

Residents must provide a valid driver’s license or state ID with their Orland Park current address. If the driver’s license or state ID does not have the Orland Park address, a second document (from the list below) showing their Village of Orland Park address must be shown: • Current car registration • Natural gas, water or electric bill received in the last three (3) months • Current lease agreement • Property deed

Library cards are issued free to residents living within the corporate limits of the Village of Orland Park. Cards are issued for a period of five years. As of June 2022, only one form of identification are required when applying for a library card or when renewing an expired card. Residents of the Village of Orland Park may pre-register for a free Orland Park Public Library card online and place holds on materials. Library Board Meetings

180TH ANNIVERSARY OF A CHRISTMAS CAROL Application forms must be completed and signed in person and verified by a library staff member. Library cards are valid for five years from the date of issuance.

The Library Board meets the third Monday of each month. All meetings are open to the public. Want to learn more? The Orland Park Public Library offers a variety of services for adults. Join a book discussion, explore databases and historical documents, learn about technology, participate in the Veterans’ History Project and much more. COZY TEA PARTY

Join us for a Cozy Mystery-themed High Tea, complete with a variety of tea, petite fours, and cookies. Themed tables will be available and a cozy mystery film will be shown.

Join us at 2 p.m. to listen to the Chicago Christmas Carolers sing some Christmas classics and then stay to listen to a dramatic reading of A Christmas Carol with Charles Dickens!
