VETERANS DAY CEREMONY

Nov 11 | Monday | 11 a.m. Orland Park Veterans Memorial Civic Center

The annual ceremony will be held inside the Civic Center, near the Village’s Veterans Memorial, Ara Pace~ Place of Peace, at 14750 South Ravinia Avenue. It is during the Village’s Memorial and Veterans Day Ceremonies that the names of veterans whose names have been added to Orland Park’s memorial are announced. At the ceremony, veterans and/or their families stand as the name is read aloud and the audience recognizes them.

MILITARY CARE PACKAGE EVENT Nov 8 | Friday | 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Apple Chevy (8585 W. 159th St.)

Join the Orland Park Veterans Commission at Apple Chevrolet for a Military Care Package Event on Friday, November 8, from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. The commission is collecting items for care packages to send to active troops overseas. For more information, visit orlandpark.org/veterans.
