ORLAND PARK HERITAGE SITES

The Orland Park Heritage Sites aim to inspire a sense of community by offering engaging and educational displays and programs and by collecting and preserving artifacts that document the history of the Orland area and its relationship to local, state and national history. The area we know today as Orland Park was first settled in the 1830s. The Village of Orland Park was incorporated in 1892 with Senator John Humphrey serving as the first Village President.

The Village of Orland Park invites you to contribute to local history by signing up for an Orland Park Heritage Sites annual membership! Your membership will support exhibits, programs and preservation projects. A membership also provides free or discounted prices on special events and programs. Memberships may be purchased at the Sportsplex office, Village Hall cashier’s office or online at orlandpark.org/heritagesites. HERITAGE SITES MEMBERSHIP
