Memory Café - Virtual Travel Along Route 66
April 13 | 11:00 AM | Wednesday
With facts and songs from the iconic Route 66, we’ll travel an interactive, fun & educational journey through Texas, Arizona, Chicago, California, New Mexico & Illinois to stopping along the way to see football stadiums, the Grand Canyon & Beverly Hills. Our guide will be Lia Jill Levitt, M.Phil, M.S., CDP, and owner of Ain’t She Sweet, LLC. Jill is a coach, public speaker, and author of memoir, “Ain’t She Sweet: A Coming of (Old) Age Story“ that details her life growing up in a nursing home and the often funny, at times sad, and always impactful privilege of learning about life from older people. Her hopefully soon to be published book, inspired her to form a company dedicated to inspiring seniors, named for her grandmother’s favorite song. This virtual event is for people living with dementia and other forms of cognitive impairment and their care partners. Registration is required. Call Catherine at 708.274.0052 or e-mail cstowers@pathlights.org.
