Schussler Park

The Village of Orland Park and the Schofield Family Foundation broke ground on the renovations for Schussler Park. The primary features of this redevelopment will include the installation of the Michael Schofield III Sports complex featuring two full-size artificial turf fields on the east side of Schussler Park for football/soccer/lacrosse use. The complex will include a scoreboard, coaches’ box, bleachers, storage buildings, parking lot improvements and a sledding hill in the northwest corner of the park. The newly renovated Schussler Park will become the home of Pioneer Football and Cheer, and will provide practice and game fields for the Village’s many youth athletic organizations. When not scheduled for use, Orland Park residents may enjoy the fields for drop-in play. For more information, visit orlandpark.org/masterplan.
