Over 130 golfers took to the course at Silver Lake Country Club on Tuesday, Aug. 30 for this year’s Veterans Golf Classic. The event included 18 holes of golf along with side games, auction, raffle and dinner. Proceeds from this year’s outing benefited: • Orland Park Veterans Commission • The American Legion Orland Memorial Post 111 • The Orland-Palos VFW Post 2604 • Veterans Voices • Veteran and Military based organizations Thank you to those who joined us on the course, the generous sponsors and the community for continuing to support area veterans.
