Orland Park Public Library

The Orland Park Public Library serves the residents of the Village of Orland Park. The library moved into its award-winning 93,000 square foot building in September 2004. Patrons of all ages have access to a well rounded collection of both print and non print materials, educational and recreational programs, computers and instructional computer classes, excellent reference service, outreach programs for seniors and homebound patrons, and story times for children.

Sept. 9, 23, Oct. 7, 21, Nov. 4, 18, Dec. 2, 16 2:30 p.m. | Mondays DEMENTIA CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP Designed for those caring for a loved one with dementia. Come to relax, share, learn and connect with fellow caregivers and local experts. This program is exclusively for caregivers. Registration is encouraged for planning purposes, but walk-ins are welcome.

September 6 | 7 p.m. | Friday Because Smith Crossing’s sister community, Smith Village, is celebrating its centennial, a series of nine 3-foot by 4-foot panels dating back to the 1920s and concluding with 2024 series is featured. Each session includes an activity and gives participants a chance to enjoy time together. Offered in partnership with Pathlights Senior Services.
